What We Do
(...we believe it to be the best model to achieve lasting transformation in reducing poverty and homelessness.)
1.
Permanent Housing
The first thing everyone needs is safe, affordable, and permanent housing. Our tiny homes are beautiful too! But housing is just the beginning: we are also community builders, where the community becomes the healing agent.
2.
Personal Development
Supports
Our vision is to see people overcome barriers to a full and independent life. The developmental supports we offer help community members achieve their goals. This includes access to substance use recovery counselling, opportunities to improve health and education, and more.
It is person-centric, trauma-informed, recovery oriented and strength-based.
3.
Progressive
Employment
We tap into the power of purpose and meaningful work, by providing low barrier, patient and progressive employment opportunities that help people learn, grow and succeed in re-entering the workforce.
How Can I Help?
You can partner with us by joining the 12N Development Fund. Your donation directly provides low-barrier employment (wages) and developmental support in achievement of healthy goals (counselling, substance use recovery, education, health, etc).
This is the type of investment designed to support long term transformation, to help people overcome barriers to poverty & independence, and transform our city.
Our Campaign:
1000 Friends of 12 Neighbours investing $20 / month into our development fund.
Funds directly support neighbours’ path to employment and independence.
*tax receipts provided.
